I was bullied a lot as a boy. It sucked. My parents found about one particular case in middle school. They told me the same stupid shit I tell my kid when he gets bullied, because it breaks our hearts to know we can’t help, that our intervention in all likelihood will simply make things worse....
I can only speak from personal experience, but hell yes, worldbuilding does make one a god. Kind of.
